How to play Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek in Minecraft game, you have to use the portal to travel into the server. After you enter the server, you can click the countdown circle to get 30 seconds to hide. Press R to run and hide or S to start. If you are the seeker, hold X to look. Once 30 seconds is up, you will have to wait for the seeker to hide. Once that happens, the game ends and whoever hid first is the winner.

Hide in one of the hideout points. Each point has a different name depending on which world it is in. Find a seeker. There are two for each game. When you are the seeker, hold X to look. When the seeker is looking, you are looking. You do not need to be in a hideout to be the seeker.

The Rules

Each team has one shout, which must be shouted (no vocally scrolling over the characters) each time you are spotted. In this way, it works like you would a spotter in team deathmatch or captures the flag where you shout it and a teammate hits you and it doesn’t count as an attack. Everyone is in turn designated a shout, with yellow being a minimum of two teammates, and green being a maximum of four.

You can use the default hideout which I’ve made up and a version with two hundred players that fit four per hideout. The hideouts should all be contained in one word, and the view size of the game should be 1680×1050 at a standard resolution of 1280×1024, as this tends to be the standard resolution and is playable on most game machines.

Tips for Hiding

Pick a hidey-hole in the furthest corner of the map, so the seeker will have to search farther and farther to find you. Pick a suitable hiding place with enough cover and where you can’t be seen easily. Hide somewhere safe from quick saves, especially if you’ve just jumped on a better suit of armor, and especially if you’ve already killed the seeker or are aiming at the seeker.

Tips for Moving

You can click the up, down, left, and right arrows to move left or right, then the left and right arrows again to go forward. Then, it’s just a matter of using the “N” and “O” buttons to go left and right, and then the number keys 1-2-3-4-5 to move forward.

Tips for Seeking

Try to guess where the seeker is going to hide. When playing with multiple players, you can tag your friends first and last. If you want to play another game, remember to clear your tags. If you see someone was tagged before, do not try to escape, you can only hide. A good hiding spot is a 1×1×1×1 cube which is either under a huge rock, rock wall, dirt pile, or even an animal. An easier way to hide is inside a big door that you can’t see inside.

Don’t go up on the second floor of a building if you don’t have the key to unlock it. If you see a person running, follow him. Take care of your health and don’t get caught by a seeker. Never use your weapon against a seeker.
